Front-end Web Developer

We are looking for a talented and creative individual to join our team at Liquid HQ.

Liquid have been in the digital arena since the '90s and we specialise in creating bespoke online solutions for the property sector.

Your primary role will be implementing front-end websites as per supplied designs. In addition to websites, you will also be developing for a range of digital services & products such as email marketing templates, mobile & tablet apps, and interactive touchscreens.

Here's what we are looking for…

Job Role

  • Implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with in a web application.
  • Creating responsive HTML templates from supplied artworks.
  • Liaising with our Project Manager, Web Designer and Back-end Developer to ensure the application logic and integration work is complete and functional.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders when required.
  • Excellent documentation, organisational and communication skills.
  • Developing new user-facing features when required.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end developer.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Develop, test and deploy digital campaigns.
  • Answering customer support tickets.
  • Responsibility for your work. Deliver you allocated section of the project on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that a usable and visually stunning site is delivered.
  • Staying on top of industry trends and content management systems.
  • Reliability and responsibility for allocated tasks.


Skills & Experience

  • Project tasks to be completed within the project timeframe.
  • Testing the website and identify any technical problems.
  • Expert implementation of core front-end and back-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap etc.
  • Proficient use of: Sketch, Invision, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Implementing visual and interactive elements that users engage with in a web application.
  • Implement Responsive design and User Experience.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
